We stopped on our way from Stanley to Bowbells and are glad we did. Nice auto tour with signs to describe the area. We stopped because we noticed the lookout tower and were surprised to find out you can climb up to an observation deck!
Nice place in the summer to see, when all this snow begins to melt, do ME a big favor.nLIVE A LITTLE and go see it with your own EYES. Wildlife Haven, lots and lots of bird, geese, goose, ducks, baby duck ect. Deer, sometimes Even Ol Bullwinkle.
Awesome birding auto tour & high lookout tower to climb
Refuge auto trail is open May through September. Nice walking trail and scenic overlook in a fire tower.
The Casino has a good aroma, no smoke, dinner buffet delicious, no time to gamble, Next time.
