Smoky Hill Audubon Wildlife Sanctuary

Very few visitors makes for a clean area with virtually no litter. Nice place to walk.

This place is my sanctuary, and brings me so much joy and relief to just go and walk the trails, observe all the wildlife and even hang out in the Bird Watch hut! One of my favorite activities to do with my daughter is take notes of all the animal tracks we see figure out what they are. While I enjoy bringing new people to see this place I'm glad it is still very unknown, because then it doesn't get ruined. All in all I highly reccommend this place for private and family experiences, and I am happy to say this place has saved my life multiple times. God blessed this place

Love to just go out and enjoy the wildlife! We've seen large flocks of snow geese and some eagles.

The secluded location of the Audubon Pond allows large numbers of Canada and Snow Geese to gather in cold weather.
