Manhattan City Park Swimming Pool

Used to love coming here every weekend in the summer before COVID

Fun place to attempt surfing in Kansas. You have to use their boards, helmets, and have to wear a shirt or rash guard. They have some shirts that the public can use too.

Great pool for families

The pool itself is nice, some staff is awesome BUT it seems each lifeguard enforces their own rules.

You would think a pool would want kids to wear a life jacket but in order to do anything there I was told my son had to take his life jacket off. Then when we took it off and tried to use a tube they said he had to sit in the tube hole and couldn't lay across it. The hole was way to big and they don't have tubes that have hole closed like most pools that use them. Other than that pool was clean and had some areas for younger kids.
