Cheney State Park - Marina/Lakeview Campground Camphost

Lots of great camping places good time will return

Large lake pleasant of room for meant people to be out enjoying the weather. Boats, sailing, jetski, lots of activities.

Very well kept campground. I was very suprised that all the other campers were so outgoing and friendly. You might pull in as a stranger however by the time you leave after your stay you will feel like family. The sites themselves are a little tight with all your slides out but still room to enjoy. 30 amp hook ups and water at each site. Right across from O'Briens Marina if you forgot anything. The campground has nice shade, and is behind the damn and in the marina cove so if a storm comes up you camper and boat are fairly protected. The campsitr is also located on a dead end road that leads to a public swim area if you have little ones. The water is right behind each camsite so night fishing was great. The campsite bathrooms were very well maintained and clean. The showers heads actually worked and were adjustable and plenty of hot water even in peak times. I would suggest that you make reservations for these sites because i was told they fill up fast.
