Sand Hills State Park

It wasn't you standard walk in the park. Lots of sandy spots to hike through, dirt, grass and bugs. Great hike. Bring bug spray and a good trail shoe, kinda uneven and ruts here and there. Great hike!

Our site wasn't terribly level but there was ample space between sites and it was SOOO quiet there. Since there is no lake or playground there isn't much to do with little ones but for a nice quiet getaway for couples I highly recommend it.

Very nice all paved roads and concrete to park the motor home on. Very Very nice. 100% satisfied. We will be back to camp..

They really need an administrator come to this state park location. The man here (off duty) is really unbecoming and rude. The park map clearly shows primitive sites, taxes were and ARE paid for them...he is running it as his own personal can ground...and he tried to tell me he was going to charge me the same as an RV site. I know I didn't serve to be treated like this at a state park!
