Goodnow Park

Very well located in a neighborhood full of children & next to the hiking trail.

Doesn't appear to be a large park at first glance, but once you go to the Goodnow House and take the trail to the right of the house, you have a lot of area to walk.nnThe trail is short, but steep. I worried for my knees and ankles when I went down the trail. But, as long as I stepped carefully, I was fine.nnThe trail leads to the overlook and there are a ton of places to go from there.

Very good park and beautiful.

Stopped by Goodnow park to eat my lunch. The park is nestled in a quiet neighborhood without a lot of city traffic noise. It's well maintained and very clean. Loved having a peaceful, uninterrupted lunch hour. Nice job City of Manhattan.

Park is clean and well maintained. Not crowded.
