Good place for running/biking but expect spiders every couple feet in the wooded sections

Nice ramp to the Blue and Kaw rivers. Entrance is right- in/right-out and gravel parking area has significant potholes. Busy area with recreational bicycle, walk, jog, and river traffic.

This is a very peaceful place once you get far enough up river from the noise of Hwy24.nnIf you don't mind traffic noise, it is even better. The old buried pickup was a great find.nnMany people do not know you can hike Linear Trail from Fort Riley to Kansas City, or that a half dozen parks are near the trail for camping.nnThat tree with all the burls is really unique.nnIf you want to launch a boat though, have a strong truck. This ramp is steeper than the ones both upstrean & downstream.
