My favorite spot in Manhattan to watch sunsets. Easy to get to with no fee, you can climb down (unfortunately not accessible, sorry) to a rock ledge that surrounds the whole area. Easy walking once you get down. It’s a great romantic spot and there’s hardly ever anyone else there. Pick an evening when the winds are calm and you’ll get fantastic sunset reflections from Tuttle Creek Lake.
