Kirwin National Wildlife Refuge

Plenty of bird activities going on. I was fortunate enough to see swarms of snow geese.

Beautiful place to visit! Snow and Canada geese!! Eagles too!

Not impressed with this lake

This place is lovely! Even in the Winter when a lot of it is closed there is still so much to see. When you come here it allows you to imagine how much wildlife there would have been in America if there weren't quite so many people. We saw a dozen pheasants, some quail, to golden eagles and a bald Eagle. We also saw a myriad of smaller hawks and waterfowl that didn't come close enough for us to identify them.
