This place is pretty clean and the kids loved it. Multiple campgrounds give a variety to choose from, with Blackjack being my favorite. Full water and electric hookups are conveniently at each site. The beach is close to that campground as well. Additionally, the West Point campground is equestrian and also has a part of it with yurts. Across from that campground, there are hunting cabins, and we saw someone skinning a deer that they had hung up in front of one of them. There are also sites that are double (connected) such as those in Blackjack (I believe sites 214 and 215 as an example). Those are perfect for those who have two campers being able to be parked close to each other. The sunsets were beautiful on the lake. Boating looked great as well, though we didn't do that ourselves. We did see someone parasailing though which was pretty cool. Also, maybe it's expected, but there were quite a few seagulls at the beach which we've personally never seen when camping at any place in the Midwest. The wind was pretty bad on our last day there, though not sure if that's normal at this time of the year there. Raccoons were pretty rampant there as well, though I've never been at any campground where that wasn't a problem to some extent. Quite a few deer there as well.

Eisenhower State Park is at Melvern Lake...Melvern Lake is one of my favorite lakes in Kansas because it has great beachy areas and a marina with everything you need for your trip. Everyone is friendly and the campsites are always clean and mowed well with access to the lake steps away from your tent. Great for fishing!

Perfect place for family fun!! Swimming area, playground area that's up to date & safe for kids to play on. I'd advise adult supervision. Camp sites for RV, trailers & tents. Handicap accessible.

We used to come here for years, stored are camper and boat . We stopped coming about 5 years ago except one weekend a year in December in a cabin. The improvements that have happened over the years are just wonderful. I'm happy to see the park thrive especially in these times.

I always enjoy my visits to Eisenhower SP. We used the West boat ramp on this visit and my only disappointment was that the bumpers on the loading dock need replacing. I love how much room is available to launch boats. The space available for parking is plentiful as well. They even have a new loaner life jacket kiosk setup.
