Pomona State Park

Great camping spot! Facilities are on par for the rest of Kansas State Parks, but always a nice quiet camping experience. Right off the Flint Hills Nature Trail too, perfect for a base camp for a weekend of adventures!

We thought the area was beautiful, the park had great amenities and our camping neighbors were all very friendly. We stayed in the Kansa campground and even though we love the area we did think the spots were a little close together. When a lot of people are arriving it makes it difficult to back in to your spot. Also, people had multiple vehicles and parked along the roadway so it made for an even narrower drive through. We want to come back and try a different spot next time since the Park so is so big.

Camping end of October was great! Large camping sites, clean bathrooms, and quiet. We hope to come back this fall!

I almost don't want to write this review because I don't want the Park to get crowded! It was just what our family needed. Beautiful, peaceful, and pure camping.nThe lake is gorgeous and there are so many camp sites to choose from. Paying/ parking was simple and inexpensive.nCan't wait to go back!

Best place to get out of the city for the weekend! Perfect water view campsites great trails to get lost in the woods in and an amazing little disc golf course
