I was nervous about reserving a primitive site in July with our RV, but this campground was SO WORTH suffering a little sweat after generator hours! No less than SIX bison roamed through the campground during our 2-day stay! Seeing a bison graze next to a neighbor's tent is a sight I will never forget. I'm glad I wasn't sleeping in the tent, though. I can't wait to go back! Stunning park!
August 2020. NPS website says it is closed due to COVID19.
Very nice private sites. No hookups. Very quiet. Sheltered from weather in a large cottonwood grove.
Lovely site! Would absolutely go again!
