Practically empty when we visited. But the trees were huge and beautiful with Fall colors. Close to many local sights so day trips are possible. Some people still built camp fires (sadly) many people like me were glad to find smoke free areas as so many wild fires were burning every where good breathing air was hard to find. All in a good place to stay when empty can't imagine the huge amount of people packed parks and crowds in the RV sites.

Walked in on a very busy weekend and they were courteous and found an opening for me. They were cleaning the restrooms and showers on an ongoing basis due to Covid-19. Sites are extremely close together throughout most of the park. Sites are all fairly level and noise from the highways was not bothersome. Most sites have full hook-ups but the sewer is usually next to the neighbors picnic table.

Great place, swam all afternoon in the river, nice little sandy beach spot. Water was about 4 feet deep. Perfect for the kids.nnMake sure to bring all the groceries you need. There is a small convenience store but closest grocery store is 30 miles away.

Nice place with a great location if you’re there to visit the national park. It was clean but a bit dated. Internet was good from time to time but not consistent. Several rows of nice trees for shade, if your lucky enough to get one of those spaces.

Came for one night to see the Medora Musical on our way out west. Check in was quick and easy. The RV campsites are way too cramped. We have one slide out and could not also put out the awning. There is no room to sit outside. At most, the sites between campers has 5 feet of grass. Ours had about 2 feet. There is a sad little grill, no fire pit. Our site wasn't even big enough for us to sit at the picnic table. No room for our truck either, it had to sit out on the road. The location is great if you are here for the musical, as the entrance is across the road. If we come this way again, we will look elsewhere. I would drive a little farther for a more relaxing campground where I could spend time relaxing outside.
