Glen Elder State Park

Glen Elder is our favorite camping spot. There are plenty of sites and most come with a great view. The fishing is also great. Never disappoints.

Good fishing

What a beautiful little lake! Like most lakes in Kansas there's zebra mussels, wear water shoes and be careful. It was stunning to watch the sunset and the sunrise! There are adorable cabins you can rent if you don't want to deal with the bugs or sleeping in a tent. Bait shop in Glen Elder with live bait. Fishing from the bank or a boat. There are several fish cleaning stations, bathrooms, showers and lots of space!! There's a sandy beach with swimming allowed! Horse shoe, volleyball, tether ball, awesome picnic tables that rotate to keep the area shaded! You will not be disappointed! Have fun and enjoy your time with your family and friends!!

Great place for a family get away, was kinda disappointed on how close everyone one is.. felt like campers were on top of each other. Other wise amazing for tent camping and fishing

Was a great experience watching and learning about the Native American culture with the family we will come back next year.
