Beloit City Park Chautauqua

What a find! We were traveling from the desert Southwest on our way to see family in Iowa. Looking for cheap and/or inexpensive places to stay with our 40' motorhome along the way we discovered this city park with 10 RV spots. There are no reservations. We had a paved pad with 50 amp service. There are fresh water hydrants scattered around so you may have to share one. There is a dump station you can use, albeit a little archaic, but what the heck, it's a nasty chore anyway. We stayed 3 days visiting friends. The setting is a pretty city park along a river. Total cost: NOTHING!! Donations are appreciated and certainly due. Beloit is a nice town with everything you need. Put this spot on your travels!

Awesome park. Fruit bearing trees. Free power at picnic villa with a number of rv spots. Pool was still closed as of 6/13/2019 and there was no signage about opening times but overall a great stop in a super cute Kansas town

I enjoyed all of the Christmas lights.
