Hillsdale State Park

Hillsdale State ParknnThis park is on the bigger side. It’s nice and open. When we were here it was full but did not feel that way. We stayed at there new loop sunflower, it’s so new it’s not even on any maps yet. Not many trees in this loop as in others, but the spots are concrete and level. They are also the only sits that have waste hook ups at the site itself along with power and water. All the other sits only have water and power. They have two swim beaches, but it seems everyone one goes to only one. It’s a big beach but the swimming part is on the smaller side. The other beach is on the other side of the dam. They have spots over there for campers with horses. There is also a very nice hiking trail over there that was done by the Army Corp of Engineers. I would recommend this state park.

Will be back for sure.
