C of E Park

If your looking for a park to take your kids for a playground, this isn't it. BUT, it is a pleasant place to go none the less.nnWith a winding sidewalk that encircles a small pond and cuts through a small area of trees and then proceeds past a couple of flower gardens (which admittedly could use a bit more TLC) and through a more open area complete with benches, the park is ideal for those wanting to walk laps.nnOn a personal note, I find it favorable simply due to the fact it's one of few places in this town that I can go and not be assailed by disc because as of the time of writing this they have yet to install any of those goalpost.nnAnd I hope they don't. We have far too many parks full of those as is. Seriously.nn4 stars because all in all its simple and effective, 5 stars if they take a bit more care of their displays and develop it a bit more.

Went for a stroll with my buddy Gene. Nice sidewalk. Relaxing atmosphere. Beautiful surroundings.

Small outside meeting in the shade of a Walnut tree. Easy access for anyone. Plenty of close parking.

Peaceful with great walking paths

C of E Park is a great area for walking. The walking path is concrete and smooth. There are shades areas with benches to stop and rest of you like. It is a quiet area but it isn't uncommon to run into a few other people out for a stroll. The pond is nice but does get a little stinky depending on the time of year. The grass is always kept cut and landscaping well maintained.
