Buffalo Bill Cody Park

The trail in the back is the best part. Been goin to this park for years. South Leavenworth. Really shows Kansas off in a natural beautiful relaxing way. Lots of shade and lots of play time! Dear military residents... this is one u want to check out. Trail in the back for exercise Alain. Tennis baseball and other courts for playing! Lovely site

It's a nice quiet little park with two nice playgrounds, I think I saw a baseball diamond and a tennis court...plus a restroom facility ( currently open to the public at your own risk due to Covid 19 ). There are two seperate parking lots and Poke´mon check-in stations on each side. If you're in the vicinity it's a great place to get off the road for a minute and breathe.

Can't possibly give a full 5 stars with the old cable swing gone. It's pretty much just a standard park now, but it's a decent one.
