Willowood Campground

We've stayed here on two different occasions and found the 16 sites quiet with a few construction workers using the park as long term parking. Cost is $25 per night or $125 per week and includes water, sewer and both 30 and 50 amp power available.

This place has so much potential, but was pretty bad. The rates sound good till you stay a few days. First off there is trash everywhere. The water pressure is really low and when the permanent sites run their washing machines (yeah they have them just sitting outside) the water in the rest of the camp slows to a trickle. Real nice if you are in the shower when it happens. The bathroom at the camp was so bad we stepped in it once and regretted it because it was horrible. The waste treatment plant must be nearby because if the wind was blowing a certain direction it smelled awful in the camp. The camp sites are later out strange too and the roads in and out are muddy. The garden next door is wonderful though.

Needs paint and cleaning in bathrooms. Grass needed mowing

Very nice, quiet, clean. Close walking trails and launch for canoeing. Full hook ups big lots.
