Buckboard Cafe

It's been several years since we stopped here for a quick mid-afternoon lunch, but I've never forgotten the place. This is the kind of place that is disappearing all too quickly in this country. It's warm and welcoming and about as down-home as you can get. The young couple (he was the cook, she the server) were so delightful. The food was very good, but I'm giving it five stars mainly because there are so few places I've eaten that are as memorable as this restaurant. I want that couple to know that the hospitality they showed to two hungry and weary cross-country travelers has not been forgotten and never will be.

Very friendly and excellent service. They make you feel right at home. Superior quality food with abundant servings all at a fair price. I highly recommend.
