Fairway Woods Trail

This is a short walking trail on asphalt. It is well shaded. It is behind some homeowner's backyards on one side and along a creek on the other. Well kept. Nice gardens in the backyards!

Searched Google for a park to take the kids to that was close to Olathe East High School. When we got to the address there was no parking so we had to park on the road. All we could see from the road was a trail. As we started down the trail we got nasty looks from the home owners. I'm guessing because I had a loud 3 and 7 year old. We continued down the trail, completely feeling like we were walking in the home owners back yards. Towards the end of the trail, which just went to a street, we were spooked by angry dog barking. Needless to say, I had very upset children and an awful time. I think this shouldn't be labeled as a park, more like backyard sidewalk for the unwelcoming neighborhood.
