Prairie Center

Gorgeous nature preserve with well-kept trails, picnic areas, and fishing spots. Our family enjoyed exploring the gravel and natural paths and playing in the creek. Can't wait to come back and see more that we weren't able to get to in one day!

Such beauty at the edge of the burbs. As this area grows, it’s harder to find places that are near to get away. This interesting little place has some great trails in the prairie. There is also a few ponds to fish. If you need a break and are in the area, stop by and enjoy something new to experience.

If you want to connect with God and nature this is the place to go. There are tables for a nice picnic. Restrooms are available as well on the NE side of the property. Trails are not paved. Note: Lots of muddy trails after it rains.

Love the availability of a place off the beaten path to just come and walk and take in God's creation in its natural state. I remember well bringing my 4th Grade Class out here on a field trip circa 1986 in the midst of the fall colors and have loved this place ever since, never thinking that one day we would live right down the street! One of our state's true gems!
