Gecko Painting

We were concerned our Builder had already selected this company to paint our new home inside and out , after reading the new home reviews here.nBased on our experience, the bad reviews were well deserved.nThe quality of the work was very poor. Our builder had to contract with another company ( which did a great job) to fix all the quality issues. We had this crew in our home for over three days just on interior touch up.nnThe process started OK with an individual that did good work staining, but right after that the interior was left up to a crew that clearly was not experienced and pretty unprofessional.nnTheir approach was, rather than doing the best job they could , was to let the home owner find the problems and then they would send in another crew to fix that crews problems. After two times they gave up and wouldn't come back. Not even to clean up the paint they got all over the driveway.nnThey would never be allowed to do any work for me again.

Gecko has painted my home 3 times, not including when it was built. They have done a nice job each time at a reasonable price. The crew they sent out was very nice and they came over to do touch up today and found spots I hadn't noticed. They fixed everything I wanted.

5 stars for the work done and price. The work was done quick and looks very good. The work started about 3 weeks after I agreed to use them and it only took 3 days to complete (at less than 7 hours/day).nnI was 99% satisfied with the work but I was disappointed that no one called shortly after the work was done to ask if I was satisfied. Since no one reached out, I spent about an hour doing touch-up work later that week. Before the work began, I had left messages via email and voicemail with no response. For this reason, I give the business 4 stars.nnOne last point. The painters changed the color of my gutters on the back and side of the house from the trim color to the house color. This must be standard practice because other houses in my neighborhood were done the same way. I'm not disappointed, but I was not expecting this.nnEdit: One week after the work was complete and about 2 days after I posted this review, I was contacted by the company to see if they could visit and do a walk-around to make sure I was satisfied.

Make sure you look at your driveway after they come work on your home. Watched one of their employees flick their brush after cleaning it and spattered the driveway with paint. This is after I had the same employee try to clean off the first instance of this occuring a few months prior.

They do a very good job, just takes a while to get it done and fairly hard to get a hold of. The painters were very friendly.
