Shawnee Mission Park Dog Beach

This is hands down my favorite dog park in the KC area. Huge fenced area for your buddy to run around. I have a big guy who runs for days and this place has the room for it. With open tracts for fetch, trails through the woods for a walk or the lake for a quick dip it has it all. Clean, well maintained just a lovely place.

Used to live in the area 11 years ago and we used to go to this park all the time.n11 years later and this park is still the best dog park I have ever gone to. It is well maintained, people need to pick up their dog's poop, but otherwise still a beautiful park.

Very busy but a nice concrete main walkway/swimming area/bathroom under construction/wooded side trails. Many nice dogs and people.

Love this park. So much room and it's Gevalia well maintained. Looking forward to the public restrooms.

Amazing dog park. Off leash park that's wide open but still fenced off to keep dogs from escaping. Other dogs and owners have been pretty great. Has a beach where the dogs can ease into the water.
