Beautiful maintained trails that take you down to the Blue River. Make sure to take the time to stop at some of the Overlooks!
Awesome awesome awesome mountain bike trails along blue River parkway. watch out for road closures however, Google maps might not take you the right way to get to the trailhead. If you're new to mountain biking here you might consider downloading trail forks or MTB project to help you navigate. These trails are really expertly crafted and mapped, it'll be at least a full day of riding if you plan it right. Great trails! Would recommend!
It all depends what you are looking for. If you are a hardcore mountain biker or if you want to clock yourself and see how fast you can go, you probably have better options. But if you like to investigate, some adventure or easier and faster trails, with very scenic views of the river and some adventure, this is very nice and you can be in top of pretty high bluffs over the river. The main trail is an old railroad track, so it is very easy and flat, but there are other side trails that are harder, can take you to actual railroad tracks or down to the river and there are several spots where you can cross to the other side. So you can make a loop using the trails at both sides of the river. When the river is not bringing too much water you can make the crossing riding the bike or have to carry it in a few spots. In this trail I have seen a lot of wildlife. Sometimes it is a little overgrown but it is doable except for a few sections that are not well maintained.
Awesome, easy place to hike. It was beautiful after the snow over the weekend, interested to come back during warmer temperatures as well.
This trail is a little rough getting going as it's not the most clearly marked and has some rough trail spots. However, if you enjoy a little adventure, this is really a cool trail. Beautiful views and a really neat place to get lost in for a few hours. Will definitely be visiting again.
