Leawood City Park

Great equipment for younger and older kids and good parking access. Highway noise is pretty loud, but not painfully so. My family enjoys going here.

Nice park with plenty of options for any interest. If your interest is tennis be aware of their system. Even though this is a public park, they let people reserve court time! I've never heard of anything like it. You can be in the middle of your match and get kicked off a public court. Courts are nice but this rule really makes no sense. Park is funded by taxpayers.

The trail system right next to it is perfect for running and biking. Spacious parking lot and the playground is clean, up-to-date and in good shape. Beautiful spot!

I really enjoy the Aquatic Center. It would have been nice to be forewarned that chairs are not available this year. At 50+ I still enjoy the waterside.
