Goodcents Deli Fresh Subs

Walked in at about 5:30pm on Wednesday, October 21, 2020. There were three employees behind the counter and one in the dining room eating a sandwich. No other customers. When I walked up to the counter, the one who had been eating got up from his dinner to start my order. (Not sure if no one else is allowed to cut meat or something?) He finished the base and passed the sandwich on to another employee who took my order for all the toppings. He was INCREDIBLY slow - like grabbing one or two vegetable pieces at a time, rather than a small handful to spread out along the sandwich like anyone else would. Finally he wrapped up my sandwich and passed it onto a third employee (who had been standing there doing literally nothing else this entire time). This guy asked if I had a rewards card and I said “no, but I’ve got a gift card” and I handed it to him and he stared at it and/or the POS screen for a solid 2 minutes before asking what the expiration date on the card is. I said it’s a gift card, it shouldn’t have one. He then called over the first employee who had gone back to eating his sandwich in the dining room (presumably named Juan). Juan came over and swiped the gift card like any other properly trained employee would have known to do and the transaction was finally done. Oh yeah. Meanwhile the fourth employee did nothing the entire time besides eat a cookie in the dining room and flirting with the second employee.nOverall, it was just incredible to see 4 people take 20 minutes to serve one person and do it with very little evidence of know-how or experience.

The Manager and workers here are always friendly. Sandwich is always prepared quickly and accurately.

Placed my order at 11:13am. This location called me at 11:33am to verify cc info. They called again at 12:24pm to ask if i still would like my order because they are having troubles with their driver. I said no big deal as long as my meal is fresh and hasnt been sitting this whole time. Meal finally arrived at 1:13pm. Bread is soggy from toppings sitting on it too long and my soda is watered down from ice melting.

So disappointed. We love goodcents and stopped at this location for the first time and left with only part of our desired order and very unhappy. My husband and son went in and said we wanted to order 3 sandwiches but before we could give them info on the third they moved on to the next customer. It took multiple tries for them to hear what we wanted on the sandwiches and they wouldn't take my husband's first form of payment (a debit card that no other goodcents had issues running as credit). When were back in this part of town we'll skip this goodcents.

The sandwiches are delicious. The vegetables are better than Subway’s. They sell Pepsi. ud83eudd22 They’re quick, so it’s a great place to grab food if you have a child ud83eudd12 going next door.
