Allen has always been very attentive to my tax needs. I have been with him since 1986 and really respect his knowledge and expertise. Allen knows his trade well. I am glad he is on my side.

I took what amounted to the Gordian Knot of tax returns over to Allan Mathews after being overseas for several years, owning rental properties, starting a new business--well you get the idea. Over a few days, we got the whole thing sorted and he was patient and very helpful during the whole process. Also, he provided me with some very useful worksheets to get expedite and simplify the return process for the following year.nnGreat CPA!

How do you rate no stars? I called this horrible office for a year after their partner, Allen Matthews, did not file my taxes even though he said he did. Yes, he went to jail. I called the DA's office today and it seems that 300+ people had the same experience. Here's the thing, I emailed and called the office over and over and over and over and over and over....but nobody called me back. They didn't care. The family members never called me back either, and when you look at the news stories there is no way in hell they didn't know about this. Why not try to help your customers? All of you should be ashamed of yourselves. I hope you get screwed over like I did when I had to pay the IRS $2,800 in late fees because I was told my taxes were filed and they weren't. Allen's brother, son, daughter, and who else worked here, and I begged for them to help me......and yet nothing. They are just as guilty. DO NOT USE THEM!!!

This year marks 30 years that Allen and his staff have assisted us with our tax returns and other tax issues. We have been so pleased with their services, we still return to Kansas every year March even though we moved to Arizona in 1990. We highly recommend Matthews & Associates for their accounting and tax services.
