I love Bill Douglas as a teacher. Though he focuses more on the healing applications than the martial, I appreciate his classes are steeped in the philosophical side of the art. I have always been disappointed that many teachers have focused on the machismo of the martial (yang) energy. Bill really brings in the grace of the yin energy to his classes. The class always begins with sitting meditation, meditative chi gong warm ups and then the art practice.
What a joy to have here locally!
