The playground equipment is really well laid out for all kids under 10. There are two places designed for kids to be able to climb up where a toddler could walk off and get hurt, but they are right next to each other on the same side of the ship. So as long as the parent helped them across the bridge and made sure they did not walk off one of those two spots, this playground equipment would be pretty safe for even the youngest toddlers. I can tell the equipment is a little dated, but I hope they do not replace it anytime soon as it is one of the funnest playground equipment set ups in all of JOCO particularly for the under 5 crowd. Also the rest of the park is beautiful particularly in the fall.

I once took a walk because I was angry with my relationship. I walked a good 2 miles and stumbled upon this park. There's a statue with a plaque that clarified my thought process and made me re evaluate my feelings. This experience was almost spiritual and I will always have a place in my heart for this retreat.

Great place to meet for a distanced meal with friends. We didn't want to go to a restaurant. We brought our food. The east shelter is a little too close to the traffic noise on Quivira. Many people walking the trail this morning.

This park is a hidden little gem. It has a pleasant walking trail with both shade and sun, wonderful huge trees to have a picnic under, a natural rainwater reservoir garden, and multiple recreational activities like tennis courts, skating rinks, and a baseball diamond. If you enjoy PokemonGo it has multiple gyms and pokestops. It's also not usually as crowded as a lot of other parks in the area, so it's a great place to go for a peaceful jog.

Love this park! It has a tennis court, walking trail and roller hockey rinks.
