Shawnee Mission Park Midland Park Access

Nice shady place to get on to the trail. Just needs more parking spaces.

Always love coming here. Lots of trails and spread out places to sit or walk.

Great space to park and hop on the trail by Shawnee Mission Park.

Great spot to jump on Gary Haller trail to go north where you can link to Clear Fork trail or south to Shawnee Mission Park. Be warned they close the parking lot gate promptly at sundown. Google is wrong that the park is open till 10pm.

Closed August 13 to September 17, 2018 but website doesn’t have anything about it. We love this park and drove 45 minutes to find this out. Sad.
