This is a very nice little park very well used by the myriad dogs in the surrounding apartment buildings. The thing I don't understand is why in a cancer survivor's park they use standard lawn chemicals which when tested repeatedly by veterinary students show toxicity to dogs. If the chemicals are carcinogenic to your 40 lb dog, wouldn't they be carcinogenic to your 40 lb child?

Touching memorial to all those who have battled one of the worst diseases on this planet, and reminder that there is hope for all at this dark point of the human race. Wear a mask, social distance, and soon we will see the light at the end of the tunnel.

Beautiful space dedicated to those diagnosed with, and have not survived cancer. My mother would love it.

I love this park. It's through KU Cancer Center it's beautiful. And worth going to even if you do not have cancer. You can also go through this park anytime of the day or night in memory of someone who has passed away from cancer. It also has once a year an activity were they give out all kinds of cancer information. I don't know when that is and I've never been there for that reason
