We got a little lost going to this winery. We arrived inside the tasting room at 3:25pm. We were told by both staff members that they close at 4. When we asked if they were doing tastings they both said NO. We did end up doing at tasting however the experience was ruined by the rudeness of the staff. My advice to you if you are planning a visit is to arrive at least an hour before they close or otherwise they will be more interested in leaving than in serving or selling you any wine.
People were very nice. Not impressed with the wine. Nothing to cleanse palate after tasting so that made the tasting more difficult. I might try again though.
Great plc to go with great friends. Always a good time
Recently had my bridal shower here. We were told on the phone that we would have to trickle inside and outside during the event because of COVID. We also wore masks, and were told that we could have four tables inside when I spoke with the owner on the phone. I was also told that we could open up the doors so my guests outside could see inside(which never happened). The tasting room is closed to customers, so regular customers can only come in for bathroom purposes and to order from the bar. The woman working behind the bar told us we could only have two tables inside with only 12 spots for people to sit. She was constantly rude when my guests would ask questions, it was embarrassing. We paid $300 and were absolutely not catered to, but the 3 guests sitting outside were thought of much more highly than us. It would’ve been much easier to have my event in the tasting room that we PAID for, and have one of the bartenders go outside to take orders to the guests sitting outside. As we all signed waivers for COVID and all my guests were comfortable with being at my event, I feel we should not have been policed so rudely by one of the staff members. We were shooed off outside all day long, in the end, we way over payed for this to be treated so rudely.
I recently attended a Bridal Shower and I would NOT recommend this venue to anyone.nnLet me sum it up by saying, promises made and promises broken! What the owner explained over the phone, was not carried out by the staff. Due to COVID, there were restrictions placed that we wholeheartedly understood, we wore masks, abided by the rules, there was a lot of money that was paid, people drove for hours away to attend and celebrate but what they promised was not delivered.nnThey reduced the capacity to only 12 guests, which was not what we were told. In fact, I didn’t even get to participate and had to stay outside the whole time. Many of our guests stayed outside, in the heat, just out of love and support of for the bride. But not because of any hospitality shown by their staff.nnThey came outside to the other (3) random regulars but never ONCE came outside to check on us or take drink orders.nnIn fact, I came in to use the restroom once and get a drink. The staff member rudely said I needed to go outside because we are well over our limit. (I was the one extra person. Even though, the other customers came in and outside without harassment.)nnI told her that I had to go the bathroom and had a right to get drinks just like her other outdoor guests.nnIt was a lovely event, pretty setting, the girls who planned it did a great job but the staff came in and absolutely ruined it.nnA little bit of hospitality goes a long way. They had none. Such a shame because it could’ve been handled much better.
