Big Bull Creek Park

This is an awesome park! So many nice trails, shelters, restrooms, and playgrounds for kids. The trail system extends clear south of I-35 and includes a camping area. Also, there is former pasture land that is open for hiking. There is an accessible paved trail near the entrance and hiking/mountain biking trails beyond that.

This park is amazing! There is a lot of plants native to the area, a rock wall (a real one and a play one), slides, an area to make music, a spiderweb type climber, and water play areas during the summer. It's about a 30 minute drive from our house, SO with it and will definitely be back soon!

Came here for the mountain bike trails. Bathrooms were in pristine condition and single person should one need to change. Trails are okay but the park itself seemed very nice for families.

This is a wonderful park...we really enjoyed it, very peaceful area. We enjoyed the dirt paths, was alot of fun for grandkids and excellent family area. We are from Iowa visiting family here...this will be on my list to return to..you have wonderful park areas in Johnson County.!

This park has great covered grilling areas for full family parties. Playground for little kids and a fabulous trail and even better mountain bike trails!
