Sit and relax

We stopped here on a road trip so we had no idea what to expect. We arrived well after dark and the park employees were so friendly and helpful. One of them drove to our campsite to show us where it was. We only stayed one night in the campgrounds, so we didn’t have too much time to explore the whole park. It’s very beautiful and well-kept. We will definitely stay here again if passing through.

The campsites were fairly big and spaced fairly well for primitive sites. water was a little iffy for swimming, but that was after some heavy rains. The facilities we're fairly clean just don't forget the shower shoes! Nice views, great for bird watching. Will be heading back to check out some trails.

Wild horse campground is the BEST place to camp with horses. Horse friendly. Trails are very well maintained, well marked. Favorable for all riders
