Slough Creek Public Use Area

We came on Sunday evening so it's not crowded. Planning on leaving Friday. Great site with nice view and easy access to the water. Needs mowed really bad. Still a nice quiet getaway. We'll see how the rest of the week goes. Oh, the gentleman that checked us in was very pleasant.

Beautiful view excellent campground, huge lake and great food at Lake Ridge Bar and Grill not far away.

Good place to fish, no picnic areas I would choose. Restroom was closed. We hiked along the lake shore and that was nice.

Seems to still be recovering from floods from recent years but is a very tranquil space to gather thoughts and enjoy nature.

Love camping here....best way to social distance! The weather has been wonderful.
