Breakfast was great! Loved the breakfast burrito. We celebrated my daughter's birthday and she got a pancake with a candle. ☺ufe0f Love the service and atmosphere.

The fried tacos were delicious and wait staff super friendly. I have dietary restrictions and they offered to change the special to accommodate my needs without changing the price. Definitely will be going back.

Foods good. A little pricy

I was driving the back roads home to Yates Center, Kansas from Emporia. I was getting a little hungry as I came to Madison, Kansas. This quaint little town was quite fun to visit and I met several interesting people. My first adventure was visiting the Red Brick Cafe. The waitress was very friendly and accommodating. She provided a half chef salad, water for my herbal tea and Texas toast while navigating about 35 customers that were there when I arrived. I sat at the old fashioned sundries shop with a spinning bar stool. All the tables were full. The salad was excellent with bits of a variety of vegetables and cheese. The boiled egg tasted country fresh. Although, I was satisfied, my curiosity about desert was answered with the pies of the day being Dutch apple and cherry. Dutch apple warmed just a little was delicious. I highly recommend this wonderful, friendly little cafe in Madison, Kansas. It is worth the drive. The scenic hills Madison is nestled in provide relaxing views during the drive.nnBe sure to visit Megan her antique shop nearby called 'Rhinestones & Rust'. On my way to the car, I stopped by Madison News and picked up a newspaper for a dollar. Thank you to Madison for making my day unique!
