Helland Park

Trails are not maintained. Its impossible to follow them after the pond (truthfully I dont think there is a trail after the pond). Nothing is marked. There's glass scattered across the trails so don't bring your dogs or else you'll be picking glass out of paws.nThis has the potential to be beautiful if the city would maintain it and clean it up.

I have two dogs who love to go out, but I wanted to go somewhere where I wouldn't have to worry about other dogs. This place is perfect. Long trails and lots of exploring. My dogs loved going here.

Might as well be closed. Trails are in accessible and not maintained.

More of a fishing hole than a hike.

The Helland Park Trails are now largely gone. The recent nearby highway expansion completely removed all the hills that the trails ran along to use the dirt and rock to construct a wide sidewalk adjacent to the highway. For all useful purposes the trail system is almost completely gone. Sad but true.
