Second Street Dam

Nice quiet scenic place and has a walking trail.

A neat little hidden gem in the city. Small parking circle to leave your vehicle while you descend down the stairs riverside. Has a little concrete edge that allows you to safely view the water as it spills over the dam. This isn't your typical dam viewing, this is a very up close encounter. During high water, you can literally touch the water from the platform. Get spot for fishing but, swimming us not allowed. A quiet spot to enjoy the sound of nature. Help keep it beautiful, take out what you take in.

Neat place to go check out the river. Good fishing spots. Looked like a strong wave pool today...water flooded dam due to release from Pomona & Melvern Lakes. A retired military man has been doing some volunteer work there & he's got it looking pretty nice. God bless our service people! Could use a couple benches or picnic tables for family adventures.ud83dude0a (Watch out for broken glass & hooksud83dude1e)
