Islamic Center of Lawrence (ICL)

Just moved here from Michigan and after I visited this place for the first time it is a total disappointment. The actions of certain memebers here DO NOT represent Islam nor Umah of Islam and they need to be re-evaluated. First of all, we are NOT in a third world country where they run religion as politics to push for their personal agendas. These members need to be retrain and re-educated about the rule of law of this country and religious duties in our communities here in USA.

Nice masjid. They have more space at the basement. Huge parking space also.

When I visited that place for the first time, they called police and I almost got in trouble. I have not done anything wrong.

A decent Islamic center right off campus of KU. Strong students participation.

Very welcoming and friendly; provided education about their faith and shared good food. They do recognize Moses and Jesus as prophets.
