Wonderful! Great food choices from the taqueria, made fresh to order. Small service butcher counter with lots of fresh meat options as well as salsas and cheese. The market side has a deep selection of snacks, spices, dry and canned goods, and even cooking equipment. This little shop is packed with everything you might be looking for from Central America. The owners and staff are nice, welcoming, and helpful. Will be back often!
Great tacos! But even better, their burritos! I cry everytime I finish it because it's that good! Their salsas are also amazing! They'll give you small cups of them, but they also sell bigger cups of the salsas. I usually go for the dark red salsa and the yellow/orange salsa.
Fantastic food and grocery store! The owners are very friendly and community oriented. They have done great research work in collaboration with the Douglas County Food Policy Council and KU. I highly recommend checking them out.
It gets no better in lawrence when it comes to authentic Mexican tacos. I cannot stress how good the entire menu is. I have tried it all and enjoy every bit of it. Owners are the friendliest people too! I go at least once a week. You must try!
