The Java Break

Java break is a great place to grab a coffee and chat with a friend! Their coffee is great and if you are wanting something sweet, try a smoothie with cap'n crunch in it! It is dark inside, so it is not ideal for studying and it can sometimes be hard to find a place to sit on busy days. However, I always enjoy their drinks and the staff is super friendly!

Went to the Java Break for the first time today and had a great experience! I was passing through Lawrence and stopped in quick for an iced coffee. From the looks of it, this cafe is one of the most unique cafes I have been to! It is quite artsy and designed for students and those who work online to pop up a laptop and focus. There is a whole graffiti room where anyone can sign and lots of sating inside and outside. Would recommend, and will definitely be back again!

Miss being a student in Lawrence and hanging out all night at this joint. Java break had the best ambiance for a cafe.

Excellent Homemade Chai. Most bizarre coffeehouse ever- in a good way. Very unique atmosphere!
