We visited Sheyenne River State Forest to see a waterfall in North Dakota, trying to visit one in all 50 states. A 2-mile trail leads through the forest and ends at Mineral Springs Waterfall, North Dakota's only waterfall. The trail was very scenic, alternating between open meadows and forest. It's also part of the long-distance North Country Trail. The waterfall is small, but very scenic and it's spring-fed so flows year round. A couple locals we talked to at the waterfall said there are others in North Dakota, but they're on private property.
Great place to go for a hike!!!
ud83cudf41Happy Thanksgiving 2019ud83eudd83nnNice little area to get out an walk around in after over eating this Thanksgiving. Everything is pretty much in hibernation mode but it was still pretty relaxing.
