We enjoyed our stay at Fort Ransom State Park. Great hike along a small, beautiful wandering creek. The creek is also a great place to cool off your feet on a hot day. Other hiking trails were better suited for horses. Watch for ticks on the mowed grass trails. Campground was nothing special, but the water fill, dump station and rest rooms were all very well kept.
Very helpful campground host. Beautiful setting. Difficulty was in no signage for campgrounds due to vandalism. New signs are on order.
Beautiful state park. Lots of trees with pristine grounds. Extremely clean with campsites that are spread out. Great walking trails through a mix of trees and prairie.
What a beautiful place in the Sheyenne River Valley. Great views & history. The Park Ranger was very helpful with directions and even gave us info for when we left about fantastic pies in Tower City.
Love spending time out here with friends and family!
