Milford Recreation Area

The satellite view is WAY out of date here. This park area appears to have been mostly abandoned. While most of the major roads remain as dirt roads (one is sand) all the parking spots have disappeared completely. The gravel roads are themselves pretty rugged for a non-four wheel drive vehicle. The first fork in the road you encounter upon entering the Fort Riley Marina will take you to the area, but the pavement has fallen into disrepair so treat it as gravel. My guess is this and the Clayview Public Use Area were badly damaged in the flooding in 2019 and lost public funding as a result.
