Another great year for blueberry picking. Perfect for social distancing. Wear your mask when you check in. Most of the day we were separated by more than 6 feet and a row of blueberry bushes.

Loved it!!! We had a blast people were great and we have more blueberries than I know what to do with!!

I have picked blueberries a couple times here and every time I have had a great experience. The directions they provide on getting to the farm are very helpful and the owners are great people.nnIf you ask about the berries -well, what can be better than fresh picked berries. I increase how many berries I get each time I go because I end up eating them faster than I expect. They are truly delicious.

I love everything about this farm - the family that runs it, the berries themselves, and getting to visit the most gorgeous part of our state. Not only are there nickel sized berries, often times they are quarter sized! They are so juicy and sweet and perfectly ripe when you pick them!! The blackberries are also big and delicious (as big as my thumb!) and the bushes are thornless, which is amazing. The drive out to the farm is especially beautiful first thing in the morning during sunrise. You get to enjoy the rolling Flint Hills, everything is so green and beautiful, and there’s lots of wild and farm life to see along the way, including hummingbirds, deer, goats, longhorns, and horses. I’ve also seen a double rainbow and enjoy the winding and dirt roads you take to get there. Visiting CHF with one of my best friends has become our favorite summertime tradition together and we’ve made lots of yummy things with our berries over the years, like BBQ sauce, lemonade, muffins and pancakes. My favorite way to eat these delicious berries is by the handful, straight out of the bag, though. The Chadick family is so much fun to be around and so helpful when it comes to teaching you how to pick and have an enjoyable experience. Definitely arrive as early as possible to enjoy the cool morning temps, wear a hat and closed toe shoes, bring a big bottle of water and cash (no cards at the farm) and come ready to have the best day ever!!

It was a disappointment. Very long drive from Wichita over a lot of rock roads. We were directed to bushes that had rather small berries - definitely NOT nickel size. The berries were ok but not super good. At their prices, I'll stick to the grocery store. Not a fun experience for 2 preschoolers!
