Dog Park in Andover Central Park

Dogs bring their humans - - all shapes, sizes., ages, and colors.... OK, OK.... white -- here so the humans can enjoy throwing balls and discs in a safe, happy, well-maintained, environment.

I like to take my dog here on weekends when its not busy, its fairly rare to find it empty. Seems like a lot of people don't pick up after their dogs.

Very nice dog park. People always friendly. Water fountain & waste baggies available. Shade & picnic tables in both parks. Fun obstacles for dogs to climb & explore. Two dog parks- I have heard 1 is for larger breeds & 1 for smaller. Most of the time, as long as you & your pet are comfortable, people with all sized dogs congregate at the larger park. I have been told if your dog has issues or is compromised in some way then the smaller, usually empty dog park, is a safer place for them. ( healing from an injury/in heat/does not get along with other people or dogs/you have little kiddos with you etc) Our only complaint is unavoidable- it gets pretty muddy after a rainy day.

Big open space but there doesnt seem to be a separate area for big vs little dogs. No signage indicating the options either

Great park although the dog owners were not friendly. Dog park is tucked away about oftheway area. If we wouldn't of had GPS we would never of found the park
