Independence Park

So much to do here for all seasons. There is a great walkway winding around the river, a splash pad for the kids, a boat dock and a park. We really enjoyed it all! Will definitely be back!

Water play! Great for chilling out, sharing a cherry coke, or reading a book while the kiddos get drenched in the water fountain. Great relaxing river view. Great for first dates, folks.

Nice park, drive by the river, playground, go fishing, playground for kiddos. Walking path..bathrooms, nearby bar...all around decent place to visit and enjoy the scenery.

The place needs some maintenance, the ship has boards falling in. The sensor in the splash pad is going out it doesn't work as well. The splash pad is too close to the road, there should be a small fence between the splash pad and road. The playground equipment need a little repair, and perhaps they should put a smaller one for the younger kids, . For the circle area with the exercise stations, Some of the equipment is broken or doesn't work properly.
