This collection is incredible. Some specimens are over 100 years old. With that in mind, the condition of the birds are a little rough since I first viewed these in display in the Pottawattamie County Courthouse in the 1980’s.nnIt is free to view the collection. This is a must for anyone who enjoys birds or nature, it’s a gem in a small town. I do hope the town commits to preserving this collection and giving it the proper home it deserves. Truly a world-class collection.
