Pizza Ranch

We were there at 4PM on Saturday October 11th... Never seen a restaurant in such mess. I counted 8 tables completely covered in plates and trash, under most of the tables there was enough food to feed a family. The few tables that were open had not been wiped down all covered in spilled milk and crumbs. After wandering around we found a satisfactory table at best... If we hadn't had a hungry screaming 2 year old with I would have asked for our money back. The 'drink bar' was a wreck with ice and spilled pop covering everything.nnIf this is the way the restaurant looks to the guests, what does the kitchen look like?nnFood was sub par with a typical Pizza Ranch.nnI certainly hope this was a bad day at the Ranch...

Just took my family to this location and we were underwhelmed to say the least.nThe good: clean, staff was polite, the pizza selection was decent on the buffet, the staff was all wearing masks and other protective gear where necessary/warrented.nThe bad: Most of the pizza was mildly warm at best, even with a decent number of customers. The ice cream machine was empty of mix and wasn't filled for probably 20-30 minutes. Fried chicken was nearly empty nearly the entire time we were there and what was in the bin was not fresh and was not warm at all.nOverall it just seemed like management was absent and the rest of the staff just wasn't keeping up with the buffet items. I'll personally go to the Indianola location over this one in the future.

Urbandale location. No enforcement of social distancing, mask or glove wearing when at the buffet. Tables are not six feet apart. Beware.

Very clean. All employees kind & wearing masks. Most customers were wearing masks. Table seating was properly distanced. The food was wonderful!
